Recap: Midwest Collegiate Takeover III

The Midwest Collegiate Takeover III occurred October 24'th and October 25'th of 2026. The event took place in Morton, Illinois. Midwest Collegiate was a part of the Upper Midwest Conference. The event director was College Disc Golf's own Alexis Kerman. The event had an impressive 141 participants.The team action was thrilling. Kansas State took down D1. They won by a singular stroke over Illinois State. The University of Illinois had a dominant performance over Goshen College in the Women's division. In D2 there was a tight battle between Kansas and Illinois State. Kansas claimed victory. They were able to defeat Illinois State in a thrilling playoff. Rounding out team play, Purdue firmly won D3. They had a six-stroke lead over their field.In individual play, competition was exciting as well.
