Annie Lordi first got introduced to disc golf from her father who saw a course at their local park. Annie played her first few holes of disc golf in a floor length skirt as a 9-year-old would do. Throughout her early years Annie played casually with her family for fun. When the Covid-19 pandemic happened in 2020, Annie and her family began playing disc golf more. When Annie was deciding on what college to go to, she was excited to see that Pitt had a disc golf club and decided that she should join! During her first semester, Annie played at the club casual events and picked up on tips from more experienced players. As second semester rolled around Annie decided she wanted to get more involved with the club and decided to apply for a e-board position. Annie was appointed as leisure coordinator and later in the semester played in her first tournament with the team. Now as a sophomore, Annie is Women’s Captain and Leisure Coordinator of the club. Outside of disc golf Annie spends her time as an active member of Ballet Club at Pitt, studying, attending Pitt sporting events, and spending time with friends and family.
