We are thrilled to introduce Alexis, affectionately known as “Shark,” as the newest addition to our team. Her journey in disc golf began in the Spring of 2020, and her meteoric rise up the divisional ranks has been nothing short of extraordinary. Presently, she competes at the highest level in FPO, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.
What sets Alexis apart is her remarkable achievement as a key member of the 2021 and 2022 Women’s DI National Team Champions, proudly representing the University of Missouri – Columbia. Her remarkable track record includes participation in the DGPT on a part-time basis last year, with aspirations to hit the road full-time in 2024.
Beyond her accomplishments on the course, Alexis boasts eight years of experience in event management and program development. This wealth of knowledge and expertise will undoubtedly be a tremendous asset to our team. Moreover, she currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Missouri – Columbia in the School of Natural Resources, where she imparts her wisdom through an undergraduate course dedicated to disc golf.
Alexis holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Parks, Recreation, Sport and Tourism and a Master’s of Science in Natural Resources, highlighting her commitment to both the academic and practical aspects of her field. In her role with us, Alexis will play a vital role in handling team registrations, roster management, membership coordination, team rankings, and much more.
