Things have really ramped up as we approach the College Disc Golf National championship. In this post we will dive into the triumphant rises and surprising falls we have seen in this later half of the season.
Trouble in Cincinnati
The men’s division has seen some major shifts in the month of February. Coming into the month, Cincinnati, the reigning champs were looking just as strong as they did last year! However, as this month has unfolded, they have unfortunately slipped down quite a few spots from number one to seventeen. Filling their void, Unc Charlotte has made the climb into the number on spot. Throughout the month, they have held strong in the top five, but with the slip of Cincinnati and their recent win at the Bluegrass regional, they have claimed our top position! A final noteworthy update is that Ferris State has slipped from the top twenty for the first time all year!

The Fires Heating Up
In the women’s division, the top three have been pretty dominant all month. Missouri, the reigning back to back champs, still stand strong at number one as they still look to complete the second ever three peat in College Disc Golf history! Additionally, Emporia State and NC State have both held strong at their respective positions! Watch the flames, as Liberty has risen ten spots, finding themselves at fourth in our power rankings!
