We hope this message finds you well and excited for another thrilling season of College Disc Golf! As the new season approaches, we would like to inform you about a change regarding the membership benefits for College Disc Golf.
Continuing this season, the College Disc Golf memberships will include PDGA (Professional Disc Golf Association) memberships as part of the package.
After careful consideration and feedback from our members, we recognized that the inclusion of PDGA memberships in our package does align with the specific needs and goals of our college disc golf community. While the PDGA offers a wealth of resources, events, and opportunities for disc golf enthusiasts, we found that the majority of our members actively participate in PDGA-sanctioned events or seek the benefits associated with a full PDGA membership.
We want to focus our efforts on tailoring our membership benefits to suit the unique requirements and interests of our college disc golf community. By reducing the cost and redirecting our resources and attention, we aim to provide an enhanced experience that better aligns with the aspirations and priorities of our members.
Rest assured that despite this change, College Disc Golf will continue to thrive as an active and vibrant community. We remain committed to organizing regular events, hosting regionals, and fostering a friendly and competitive environment for all members to enjoy. We will also be exploring new initiatives to further engage and develop the skills of our players, including workshops, clinics, and guest speaker events featuring experienced disc golf professionals.
We encourage all members who wish to pursue PDGA membership to explore the option independently. The PDGA website (www.pdga.com) provides comprehensive information on their membership packages, benefits, and the process to join as an individual.
