I started playing disc golf when I was younger with my older brother. He taught me the basic fundamentals, and it was a good way to get outside and spend time with him. Eventually, I quit playing to pursue other sports, namely golf and baseball. Once, I got into college and found some free time, I picked the sport back up as a way to get outside and clear my head. I’m a naturally competitive person, so once I started seeing improvement in my skills, I wanted to compete. It has been about three years since I started playing and a little over a year since I’ve been seriously competing.
